2024 Impact Report
Period Poverty Program –
In 2024, Our Flow Period Bank made a powerful difference in the lives of menstruators across Greater Cleveland. Access to period products is essential to health, dignity, and full participation in daily life—and thanks to the support of our donors and community partners, we were able to deliver real, measurable impact.
Our Impact at a Glance
- 93,000 period products distributed
- 310 menstruators served
- Ongoing partnerships with local communities
- Expanded outreach to youth, low-income individuals, and unhoused populations

Why It Matters
Period poverty affects 1 in 4 menstruating individuals in the U.S., limiting access to work, school, and basic health. When people don’t have access to the products they need, they face stigma, stress, and missed opportunities.
Through our program, we:
- Provided consistent access to period products
- Reduced school and work absenteeism
- Helped clients maintain dignity and personal hygiene
- Raised awareness about period poverty through education and advocacy
Products helped reduce barriers to education, employment, and daily life—restoring dignity, confidence, and health to those who need it most. Together, we’re breaking the stigma and making period equity a reality.
